Making Train Delays Bearable …

My first blog entry. And I’m stuck on a train waiting for the signals to get fixed. Writing this on my BlackBerry. Actually quite pertinent, because the lovely people from BlackBerry took me out for lunch last week. They wanted to go somewhere posh, but I was in a hurry, so they bought me a bento box at The Japanese Canteen. “What are the main advantages of using a BlackBerry?”, they asked. Clearly trained in the art of the pithy research question. I talked mainly about how the BlackBerry has made my commute into work more bearable. Now I can start work even before I have arrived and work from anywhere. I can even write my blog from anywhere.

The good news is though, that in return for my interview they are sending me a new BlackBerry case and a new bluetooth ear piece. As well as buying me a salmon teriyaki. And they promised to give me a preview copy of the new device launched in June. So secret even they didn’t know what it was about. I just want bigger buttons so my thumbs don’t hurt so much.
